National Alpaca Week in the West
Western Victorian members will be busy during National Alpaca Week with open farm days, Alpacarama, and other activities to present alpacas to the public.
Here are some of the activities so far confirmed:
ALPACARAMA
Our major event for the week, with animals for sale, information, fibre and product for sale, and plenty to eat – including alpaca!
It’s on Sunday May 3rd at Wildflower Alpacas, 32 Macarthur-Penshurst Rd Macarthur.
COPACC EXHIBITION
An exhibition of alpaca arts, crafts, fibre and product at the Colac Performing Arts Centre, Gellibrand Street Colac, from, Saturday May 2nd to Sunday May 10th
ALPACA TRAILS, OPEN FARM DAYS
1. Otways Alpaca Trail (all week)

The Otways alpaca trail also includes the studs of Blaka Alpacas (Marengo) and Onyx Alpacas (Wyelangta). these studs will be represented at Alpaca Marengo.
