Wildflower Alpaca Wins Award
Congratulations to Sue and Steve Ridout whose Wildflower Alpacas at Macarthur – scene of the recent AAA Victorian Western Region’s ‘Alpacarama’ – has been awarded a prestegious Victorian “Farm Business of the Year” award.

The Weekly Times Farm Business of the Year awards are presented by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria, and awards cross all agricultural sectors, recognising farm businesses that have demonstrated innovation and business practices that maximise productivity and profitability, shaping the future of Australian agribusiness.
Sue and Steve’s award was the ‘RASV Alternative Farming Producer of the Year’.
Wildflower Alpacas and Alpacarama received a wonderful spread in the Hamilton Spectator in the days prior to Alpacarama. Their award guarantees further promotion of alpacas in the very important Victorian Western District.
